“ On Valentine's Day I found myself in steamboat but unexpectedly and on a budget. I was so grateful that I was able to grab a table. The restaurant was packed but my waitress was patient, friendly and ensured that the wait was pleasant. I ordered the special which was fish and chips with homemade tartar sauce and slaw. It was a significant wait, but that is to be expected when you go to dinner on the busiest resort weekend of the year. My fish and fries arrived hot, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. I was starving after a long day on the hill with wonderfully deep powder, and devoured every single bite. The tartar sauce and the tangy sliced cabbage were the perfect accompaniment. Great dinner in a challenging service environment. ”

“ HOW does this place not have 4 stars??!!! No, seriously it's too legit to quit. First off the place is a lot bigger inside than I expected. Our fam got seated quickly on a snowy Sunday evening. Drink wise the shakes are great and they serve a small size that works perfectly as a nice appetizer beverage. For apps we ordered the Rasta dry rub wings. The wings were cooked perfectly with a good crunch factor and savory soft meat. The rub though was a bit salty.. They still didn't have a chance. I had the Egg On My Face burger and it did not disappoint. Forewarning - the hot sauce delivers its fair share of heat on the Scoville scale. It was a fun ride. Overall great experience. We'll be back. ”

“ We also heard this place was good....I think somehow they were connected to salt & lime (I could be wrong I was just a tourists) Anyways its located in a shopping center with stores and couple other eateries. The insides was your typical burger joint with tables and chairs and a bar. The staff was cool and efficient. I Think we went when they were pretty slow. The Menu was burgers...steak and other entries. The food was ok...portions was decent price was average. The experience was ok. ”

“ Was recommended to Big House Burgers by an industry friend who says he goes every time he comes to Steamboat Springs. Now we know why- burger were awesome! There are a lot of burgers that I thought were good, but after I ate them, I'd feel bogged down & heavy. Not so here- cooked great & was a perfect size (my wife & I both had singles). Tater tots were crispy and hot. Our server Victoria was super-friendly & attentive. We will definitely recommend & will definitely be coming back! ”

“ I took my family here as we came to steamboat for a mini vacation. The happy hour is the best hands down ever! Kids eat free during happy hour! The bar bucket is the best deal and all the food is priced about as well as it can be anymore. Service was great overall. I took a star away only because the ice cream was not great but could be a bad night. ”
